The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) was proud to participate in OneAviation 2025 held on 18–19 July 2025 at Suntec City Convention Centre. This event served as a valuable platform to raise public awareness about engineering careers in aviation and aerospace, while significantly boosting the visibility of IES among students, families, and industry stakeholders.
Engagement Highlights:
Inspiring the Next Generation: IES actively engaged with students and youth visitors through interactive exhibits, career talks, and one-on-one conversations. Many aspiring engineers learned about pathways into the aerospace sector and the vital role that engineers play in shaping the future of aviation.
Public Outreach: Our booth attracted strong footfall from the general public, who were keen to understand more about IES, its mission, and its impact. The team shared information on IES membership, initiatives like the IES-INCA incubator, and professional development pathways.
Industry Connection: The event provided an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow exhibitors, aviation leaders, and academic institutions. We had meaningful exchanges with key industry players, reinforcing IES’s position as a key national and regional engineering body.
Reinforcing Relationships: It was also heartening to reconnect with many good friends and long-time partners of IES. The event reaffirmed the strong community around engineering and aviation in Singapore.
