ACCELERATING SUSTAINABLE AVIATION FUEL (SAF) DEVELOPMENT IN SINGAPORE AND SOUTHEAST ASIA

The Accelerating Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Development forum successfully brought together over 150 industry professionals, researchers, regulators, and sustainability advocates to chart a path toward scalable SAF deployment in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Participants benefited from high-calibre sessions led by experts from SkyNRG, Neste, TotalEnergies, Shell, Chevron, Changi Airport Group, and CAAS, among others. Discussions covered the full SAF value chain—from refining and production to supply chain logistics and fuel quality assurance.

The event underscored the urgency and complexity of advancing SAF in the region. It also highlighted the critical role of cross-sector collaboration among government agencies, industry leaders, academia, and innovators in overcoming regulatory, logistical, and technological barriers.
The evening concluded with a networking dinner, allowing participants to continue conversations, forge new connections, and explore potential partnerships to drive SAF deployment forward.
